The work of artist and designer, Allison Blake.

Me: I create one of a kind sculptural artworks inspired by the beauty and wonder of the natural world and a deep curiosity of materials, form, and fabrication. I work out of my home studio in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Mobiles: I typically work with red brass and form each piece entirely by hand, using the same metal smithing techniques applied in hand-forged, fine jewellery production.

I am currently focusing on a collection of Botanical Mobiles. Forms reminiscent of leaves and flowers hang in gentle shimmering canopies over your living space. Moving with changes in the air, they provide a mindful moment and a gentle reminder to look up.

Jewellery: One of a kind 14/20 gold filled and sterling silver jewellery pieces with some precious and semi-precious stone accents. A balance of modern and organic, delicate and bold.

My jewellery line is currently out of production. A few pieces from the jewellery archive are still available for purchase upon request. I may return to jewellery at a later time, but for now, I am working on expanding my craft into lighting design in hopes of bringing a new range of work and product line to you in the future.
